Loved it.

I cannot find enough good things to say about this wonderful production of Cilea's neglected early twentieth century romantic masterpiece \"Adriana Lecouvreur\" from Covent Garden.

I bought this DVD because i am a big fan of Jonas Kauffman, but I have not been able to play it because I don't have a Blu-ray set up.

A great production of an opera best known for two arias: “Io son l’umile ancella” and “Poveri fiori”, than for complete productions.

I never liked Cilea that much, but I watched this dvd for Kaufmann and Gheorghiu.

This opera was put on at the ROH in 2010 after an absence of some 100 years and as a direct response to a request by Angela Gheorghiu with a view to her singing the title role.
