Good book..
Everyone should read this book.
If you are self aware and are seeking to become more so, this is a must read.
Fascinating book. I have purchased several copies for friends ...
Fascinating book.
Simplistic neuroscience
I'm biased because I actually am a neuroscientist, but this book throws around brain centers and pathways just enough to fool you that there actually is some science in what he's presenting.
Starts good, gets boring quick
I felt as if this book was a pop lit compilation of cognitive behavior test summaries, bonded with the BS writing style.
Discredited author, find out about him before you buy this!
Any potential buyers of this book should first read the Slate article entitled \"Jonah Lehrer's Journalistic Misdeeds at Wired.
Fascinating!
A coworker recommend this book after we had been chatting about psychology for a while.
How We decide by Jonah Lehrer... an engaging read for the curious; a great insight.
This book is not only entertaining, but describes the scientific basis for "gut feeling" and sets out when to let the "rational" and "emotional" parts of the brain make a decision.
Very light read, very little value
The book skimmed over many of the most popular studies on behavioral economics and decision-making in a very, simple, but unsourced, and largely incoherent way.
One of the best on the subject
Having read nearly all of the behavioral economics books out there, I would venture to rank this among the top, if not as the best of them.
