Members Only jackets, Ran-ban subnglasses, and Anthony Michael Hall :-)
Oh, the 80's: sequencers and cheesy hip-hop.
Underrated coolness...
I'm kinda miffed at how little love there is for TD's 'White Eagle'...
A hint of the old days
TD seemed to hearken back to their 70s output with White Eagle.
Short, but Incredibly Sweet
First, I must confess a qualified Tangerine Dream bias.
White Eagle
White Eagle was one of the first TD albums that I bought for myself when I first went to University in 1982 after listening to my older brother's recordings of Ricochet and Force Majeure.
Second real 80s TD outing is brief, but good for the most part
White Eagle.
Good, but still, not perfect
I already have some kind of orientation in Tangerine Dream outings, having only 5 albums.
The Good stuff
I just read that this album followed the disappointing "Exit".
Not to be taken for granted!
Five stars all the way and for a number of reasons: Sonically, this is one of the most consistent TD albums ever!
Deep Space or Inner Space?
It depends, of course, on your personal interpretation.
