BILL LASWELL GREAT BASS MASTER !
This is product jazz excelent condition.
Bjorkenheim, Laswell, Agren BLIXT
Intelligent and powerful bursts of sound that rise from the ashes of the early 80's trio Massacre while showing a muscular kinship with Dillinger Escape Plan.
Little bit too raw & unfinished for a masterpiece
This album is a magnificent yet crude work of three rather different musicians, I would say, myself being mostly familiar of Raoul Björkenheim's works from the three last decades.
scary
Not long ago I dreamt I was a dentist.
Yes to what everyone else has said
If for no other reason, you know this record can't be bad because of the other folks reviews previously: They clearly understand what they are hearing and it is just ass-kicking.
Tony Williams Lifetime-esqe Jazz-Rock Fusion
I was unfamiliar with Morgen Agren until, by presumably due to my having bought albums featuring Bill Laswell and Henry Kaiser over the years, Amazon recommended this album to me, along with the Kaiser/Gunn/Agren trio project \"Invisible Rays\".
raw amazing and shredding...
I couldn't wait to get this CD, Raoul Bjorkenheim, Bill Laswell and Morgan Agren take it to the limits.
Burst of sounds
Raw, wild and powerful, this CD is a burst of pure energy, it sounds like music at its natural state, with no artifact.
Blixt rides the vibe!
While I agree with Goodpasture's description as an amalgum of Crimson/Hendrix/Last Exit, I totally disagree with the not being pretty part.
Extrodinary
If King Crimson, Jimi Hendrix and Last Exit had a baby, it would sound like Blixt.
